Dr. Sanjay Murthy is the founder of WellHealth Medical Associates. Dr. Murthy completed his Bachelor of Science at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI where he majored in Physiology. He did his medical studies at KMC-Manipal in Manipal, India before going on to complete his Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (MPHTM) at Tulane University's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, LA.
After earning his master's degree, Dr. Murthy was a resident in Family Medicine at Louisiana State University-Health Science Center in Lafayette, LA where he completed 2 years. He then completed a third-year residency in occupational medicine at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Following that, he completed a fellowship in behavioral/addiction medicine at Brighton Hospital in Brighton, MI.
Dr. Murthy has numerous medical certifications, including advanced certifications in pain management, urgent care medicine, functional medicine, advanced diabetes management, and women's health specialist. He is also a certified geriatric care professional. He is always looking to expand his medical expertise with continuing education and is pursuing advanced certifications in psychopharmacology and wound care.
In addition to his certifications, Dr. Murthy is a diplomate of the American Board of Urgent Care Medicine and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is also certified in age management medicine by the Age Management Medicine Education Foundation. Dr. Murthy is also board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM).

I had an excellent experience at Wellhealth! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The office is clean, well-organized, and runs efficiently. Dr. Murthy was incredibly thorough during my visit, taking the time to listen to all my concerns and explain everything in detail. I highly recommend this office.
Doc Murphy was very caring and explains to you everything with care and concern!!! My condition is serious and he takes his time with great caring!
The medical staff at this location is absolutely phenomenal. They all tend to my medical need's and always address the issue.
